Mottahedeh "Cincinnati" Dessert Plates

A pair of Cincinnati porcelain plates from Mottahedeh. These plates are a reproduction of George Washington’s most famous dinner service, which was produced in Canton in 1784. The image to the well of the plate depicts a flying angel holding a ribbon attached to an eagle. The verge and rim are decorated with traditional Chinese motifs in cobalt blue. The underside of the plate is marked with thorough information about the plate and its history.
