An antique L. & J.G. Stickley drop front desk. This Mission Arts and Crafts style desk, constructed from tiger oak, features a top shelf over a slant front drop down desk, which opens to a large work surface, an additional small drawer and eight small compartments. Underneath are two dovetail jointed drawers with wood knobs, and an out-facing shelf on each side. It is marked to the interior with the 1916-19 sticker created for the merger of the two shops, which reads ‘Stickley Syracuse and Fayetteville NY Handcraft Craftsman.’
