A color lithograph print on paper after Austrian flower painter Joseph Nigg (1782-1863). This still life depicts a glass vase overcrowded with carnations, roses, tulips, and more in reds, pinks, and white. It sits on a small wooden table with a cluster of grapes, three peaches, and a snail. The print is unsigned and has the artist’s name and lifespan printed in a cartouche to the lower center margin. It is presented behind a white mat and glass in a gold tone wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- to Fair; some stains and discoloration in the image area; nicks and scratches around the frame.
