An original oil painting on canvas titled by Cincinnati artist S. Josephine Weaver, titled Abstract 6. The painting depicts several organic, abstracted forms patched together to create a busy composition. The forms are painted in shades of orange, gray, green, black, and white. The painting is signed in paint to the lower right, and is signed and titled to the verso. It is presented in a thin silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire.

S. Josephine Weaver graduated from Layton School of Art located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her BFA in 1968. The artist also studied at Edgecliff College located in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Art Academy of Cincinnati also located in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a painter with a variety of subject matter from abstract to realism and paint on a variety of surfaces from canvas to even painting on water. The artist has been displayed nationally including solo shows in Washington D.C. and has lent her experience as a jury to many Cincinnati shows and galleries. Weaver is currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio.
