Item Details
An Asian style ceramic container. The container features an oval shape with scallop shell shaped handles to the sides. The piece is decorated to the outside in rose and white glaze with the images of two cherubim in a tropical setting including palm trees. The interior of the container is painted with images of catfish, goldfish, and aquatic plants. The container is marked to the underside with a red seal and labeled ‘Not For Food Serving, May Poison Food, For Decorative Use Only, Made In The Peoples Republic Of China.’
Condition
There is some scratching and discoloration to the interior of the piece.
