Vintage Homing Pigeon Crate

Item Details

A vintage cage for shipping homing pigeons. The cage has been painted in olive drab. Two levels are split to accommodate up to four pigeons and there are sets of metal food cups for each bird. The top has a handle and D-hooks for a strap. Multiple doors provide access to the birds. Numerous tags and shipping labels, primarily from railways, remain on the box.
