1902 Levi & Salaman and Other Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoons

A nine-piece collection of sterling silver souvenir spoons. This includes three London souvenir spoons from 1902 by Birmingham maker Levi & Salaman, which features sites from the city on the bowls which includes the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and the Houses of Parliament. The backs are stamped with the ‘L&S’ maker’s mark along with three hallmarks of an anchor for Birmingham, a lion passant for sterling, and a ‘c’ date mark for 1902. These are presented with two Portland, OR souvenir spoons with enamel accented handles, a spoon by R. Wallace & Sons in the Bijou pattern with personalized engraving to the back of the bowl, a Catalina Island, Cal. souvenir spoon by Paye & Baker Mfg. Co., a Brooklyn Bridge souvenir spoon, and a Fort Wayne souvenir spoon by The Robbins Co. Each spoon is marked for silver fineness. The total approximate weight including enamel is 2.375 ozt.
