A signed acrylic painting on paper titled Passages by Cincinnati based contemporary artist Lisa Schafer. This abstract composition is constructed of nebulous organic shapes in red, blue, and accented with linework and pattern. The piece is signed to the lower left corner. It is presented in a cream color mat, behind glass, and in a gray stained beveled wood frame. The verso of this piece is inscribed with the title, medium, dimension, and artist’s website by hand in graphite.

Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Designed from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
