L.L. Ink and Watercolor Painting of Racehorses
Item Details
An ink and watercolor painting on paper of racehorses by an artist initialing the work ‘L.L.’ The piece depicts the two horses neck-and-neck, one of the two rendered, along with its jockey, in blue and gray and the other in red and warm brown. The piece is signed toward its lower right and is double-matted under glass in a gold tone frame with a wire to its verso.
Condition
- fair; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; chipping and light wear to frame finish; foxing and light discoloration toward edges of paper.
