Continental Silver Co Silver Plate Carving Tray and Other Silver Plate Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of four silver plated serving dishes. This group features a vintage, grapevine-patterned footed meat carving tray and matching lidded dish by Continental Silver Co. The carving tray has an impressed ‘Tree of Life’ drain pattern with a deep well, and the lidded dish is divided into two sections. Both are marked ‘Continental Ultraplate E.P.N.S.’ with ‘18% = Nickel Silver W.M.M.’ also included on the carving tray. These are presented together with an unmarked, lidded serving dish, and decorative oval platter marked ‘Simpson. H.M. & Co. Quadruple Plate 108.’
Condition
- to Fair; marks and scratches; various levels of tarnishing present with verdigris present to some pieces.
