Antique Meriden Co. Lion Teapot and Other Silver Plate Tableware
Item Details
A grouping of silver plate tableware includes one teapot and three serving trays. The ornate teapot was made by the Meriden Company. It features a fern motif, an angular handle with a lion’s head, and clawed feet. One serving dish was made by the Keystone Silver Company and features an acanthus leaf motif and curved corners. Also included is a serving tray made by the Wilcox Silver Company which features a circular shape with an egg-and-dart rim. This is presented together with a serving plate made by the F.B. Rogers Silver Company which has an ornate floral frame.
