1950s "Alice in Wonderland" Sewing Cards and "Pin-Ups" Wall Décor

A collection of vintage merchandise based on the 1951 Walt Disney Animation Studios film Alice in Wonderland. This collection includes three color illustrated pressed cardboard wall decorations depicting the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and a pair of paper lanterns; the back of the lantern piece is marked ‘Walt Disney Character Fairytale Pin-Ups / Copyright Walt Disney Productions / No. 260 ’Alice in Wonderland’ / Mfd. by The Dolly Toy Co. / Tipp City, Ohio’. Also included is a box of color illustrated hole punched sewing cards, marked to the side of the box ‘No. 5313 / Made in U.S.A. / Whitman Publishing Co.’.
Condition
- March Hare Pin-Up’s left foot partially detached; minor scratches and discoloration; wear to sewing card box; tear between two holes of Alice sewing card; sets not verified for completeness.
