A pair of antique Jennings Brothers silver plate table pheasants and a Simpson, Hall & Miller Silver Company candelabrum. Includes an ornate three-arm candelabrum with center flame finial by Simpson, Hall & Miller Silver Company, which features carved shells and ornate scrolling leaf medallions throughout; includes three removable bobeches and one removable finial for a fourth candlestick holder at the center; marked to the bottom, ‘Simpson, Hall & Miller Silver Company Quadruple plate U.S.A. – 00; 831.’ Also included are Jennings Brothers table cock and hen pheasants in silver plate; marked to the bottom but illegible.
Condition
- tarnish, wear, denting, chipping to finish, and bending of pieces.
- legs of both pheasants are bent and finish is chipped; hen has bent tips of tail feathers.
