A vintage coin bank and squeaky toy, each depicting the nursery rhyme There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. Included is a coin bank accented with bright blue, yellow, orange, and green details to the figures perched in the calf of a white lace up boot. The piece is capped with a yellow roof with coin slot. The base is fitted with a seal marked ‘pry-open.’ This piece is accompanied by a bright yellow squeaky toy by Alan Jay. This piece is composed of clarolyte rubber and finished with a woven shoelace. It bears an incised logo to the base, dated 1960.
