Vintage Bay Keramik Pottery Butter Dish

Item Details

A vintage butter dish by Bay Keramik. This pottery piece is topped with a curved finial to the lid, and an oblong footed body. It is finished with a cream glaze to the interior. The variegated glaze to the exterior fades from olive to tan, then brown towards the base. As the piece catches light, it appears to be gilded throughout. It bears a molded mark to the base indicating this form, ‘210’, was produced in Germany between 1933-1949.

Condition

- faint to minor marks and scratches throughout; gentle discoloration and small marks to interior.
