1880s "Personal Memories of U.S. Grant" Vol. I & II

A two volume set of Personal Memoirs of U.S. Grant. This set features an illustrated frontispiece with an in-plate signature and inscription from Grant. The books were published by Charles L. Webster & Company of New York, volume one in 1885 and volume two in 1886. Both volumes are presented in a full leather bound cover with gilt lettering to the spine and marble patterned end papers.
