Vintage Pyrographic Jewelry Box

A vintage/antique pyrographic jewelry box. This jewelry box features balsa wood construction with a beveled top, brass hinges and a brass clasp. The box has a light brown sponged on stain finish and has clusters of cherries and branches decorating the outside which have been lightly burned into the wood. The inside lid of the box reads, ‘Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S. N.A. Dec. 25. 1907.’ The inside base of the box faintly reads, ‘From Elsie’
