An assortment of vintage opera libretti and programs. This collection includes a paperback edition of L. Illica and G. Giacosa’s libretto for the Puccini opera Madam Butterfly with an English version by R. H. Elkin, published by G. Ricordi circa 1907; and a paperback version of the libretto for Verdi’s La Traviata, published by Edwin F. Kalmus circa 1950. Also included are five copies of the program for the 1947 season of the San Carlo Opera Company.
