Item Details

A signed Mid Century Modern art pottery vase. This earthenware vase has a teal glazed interior, gilded rim with thumb rest, applied loop handle, funnel neck, and baluster shaped body. The exterior features a white beaded glaze overlay, and is embellished with gilt work and butter yellow bands and hand-painted foliate designs throughout. The verso bears an illegible signature in black script alongside ‘7/700(?)’.

- slight loss of finish throughout; minor wear to underside.
