An oil painting on canvas by Altson. The still life piece depicts a yellow vase overflowing with lush flowers and foliage in hues of red, pink, blue, green, yellow and burgundy. The work is signed ‘Altson’ in brown paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame with moulded foliate embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
