A Pete Rose 1963 French Bauer milk lid. These cardboard lids had illustrations of a Cincinnati Reds player, their name was printed in red script lettering along with ‘Visit Beautiful Crosley Field’ and ‘See The Reds In Action’. The lid is not dated. French Bauer was a dairy company in Cincinnati, Ohio and Lexington, Kentucky.

Condition

- the flap that’s used to pull the lid off the bottle has a fold at the top and small crease across the flap
- slight rusting of the staple on the back
