A signed acrylic painting with pastel accents on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati artist Kaitlin Roberts. The piece is untitled, but was painted as No. 3 in the artist’s Blooms Series. It depicts a closely-cropped and abstracted view of a bouquet of coral, peach, and black blossoms housed in a clear cylindrical vase. The piece is signed in black to the lower right. It is unframed and awaits your choice of presentation. The verso of this piece is inscribed with the artist’s name, medium and dimensions by hand in ink.
Roberts is a Kentucky native who currently lives and works in the historic neighborhood and arts district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, living in a century-old building that overlooks the city. In addition to her artistic background, Roberts is a creative writer and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kentucky.
