A signed acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati artist Kaitlin Roberts, titled Peonies in a Hobnail Vase. The piece was painted as No. 2 in the artist’s Blooms Series. It depicts rounded blossoms in textured fields of pink, red, blue, and teal arranged in a white spotted vase. The piece is signed in black to the lower left. Roberts is a Kentucky native who currently lives and works in the historic neighborhood and arts district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, living in a century-old building that overlooks the city. In addition to her artistic background, Roberts is a creative writer and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kentucky.
