Louis XV Style Secretary and Bookcase by Henredon

Item Details

A Louis XV style secretary with bookcase. The upper portion has a beveled, arched cornice over a lighted bookcase with adjustable glass shelves and glass paned, mesh covered doors. The secretary has a slant front that rests on pull out slats; inside it has vertical cubbies in the center, flanked by tiered drawers on either side. The bottom portion has two block front drawers with bail handles and faux escutcheons, and the entire piece is raised on short cabriole legs with whorl feet. The Henredon logo is branded inside a drawer.
