A hand painted Balinese carved wood mask of the Hindu monkey deity Hanuman. This piece presents a furry grey face with bat-like ears, bulging yellow eyes and bared teeth framed by an ornately carved headdress. There are no apparent maker’s marks, and the mask is wired to hang.

- discoloration throughout and surface wear to painted areas; minor marks, chips and scratches throughout.
