A porcelain bowl and mug in the Peter Rabbit pattern by Wedgwood (first produced 1947). Each depicts colorful images and text from the iconic story created by Beatrix Potter and published by Frederick Warne & Co. The underside of the bowl is marked ‘Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Made in England, Copyright Frederick Warne & Co. Beatrix Potter Designs, Peter Rabbit’. The underside of the mug is marked ‘Peter Rabbit, Frederick Warne & Co. 1993, Wedgwood Made in England’.
