Chinese Woven Silk Garden Scene
Item Details
A Chinese woven silk textile. This small tapestry depicts a woman in traditional dress carrying a parasol and walking over a red garden footbridge towards a large pagoda structure. It is finished with a silk brocade border and unsigned. The work is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone wood frame with a saw-tooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- light wear to frame finish; accretion to glass; backing paper is peeling.
