A contemporary copy oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. The piece is a copy work created after a painting by listed artist George Forster (1817 – 1896) titled Still Life with Bird’s Nest, Figs, Peaches and Grapes. It depicts an assortment of lush fruit next to a birds nest of small eggs, with one egg shown broken to the foreground adjacent to scattered figs. The unsigned piece is presented without glass in a distressed wooden frame.
