An original acrylic on canvas diptych titled Surface Level by Cincinnati contemporary artist Lisa Schafer. Each square canvas depicts abstracted forms painted in shades of peach, periwinkle, navy, coral, black, mustard, and chartreuse. Each piece signed by the artist to the lower left corner in black paint. To the verso, the title, medium and dimensions are inscribed. The pieces are unframed, but are gallery-wrapped and are equipped with hanging wires.

Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Design from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is also housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
