Pair of Chinese Metal Sitting Buddha Incense Burners

Item Details

A pair of Chinese metal ‘Sitting Buddha’ incense burners. One is a hollow cast gilt finished figure holding a small round vessel with a removable pierced lid. The other is a hollow cast dark tone metal figure, sitting on a base embellished with a leaf and swastika design, holding a square open topped box. Areas of worn copper tone finish remain on the cap, box, and base.

Condition

- finish flaking from both burners. Darker tone statue does not have a lid for incense holder.
