A collection of vintage books on Cincinnati. Three vintage books are offered in this lot. They include, ‘The Serene Cincinnatians’ by Alvin F. Harlow, ‘Cincinnati Then and Now’ and ‘Cincinnati in Bronze.’ The Harlow book looks at the development of the city from the Queen City of the West to Porkopolis and the changes that did and did not come through the latter 1800’s and how Cincinnati still retained many of its 1800’s ways even into the near mid 1900’s. This work is signed by the author, Harlow. ‘Cincinnati Then and Now’ takes a look at the changes the city underwent via the medium of photography and the final book highlights the various bronze cultural and historical markers through the city.
