A collection of Mexican and Italian made pottery. The collection includes a tray and two lidded vessels painted in slips of red, black, and white and multiple pieces of pottery made in Mexico. The Mexican made pottery includes two large trays, three lidded vessels, six small bowls, and five small plates. The pieces are finished in glazes of blue, yellow, pink, and purple. The undersides of the pieces are marked, ‘Italy,’ and stamped, ‘Mexico.’
Condition
- surface wear including faint markings; several pieces have rough edges; some pieces have areas where clay has broken off or has chipped.
