A Wedgwood biscuit barrel from the Jasperware Collection in cobalt blue. This piece has a barrel-shaped earthenware body in cobalt blue with a matte finish. It features molded white neoclassical style figures in relief around the body and is impressed ‘Wedgwood’ on the underside of the base. The barrel is adorned with a silver plate mount featuring a finialed lid and twisting bail handle by Sheffield silversmiths Henry Wilkinson & Co.
