An original anitque oil painting on canvas of a landscape by Massachusetts artist John Ribchester (1866-1931). This painting depicts two tall poplar trees beside a body of water at sunset. The painting is signed and dated (1915) to the lower right corner. It is presented in a gold-tone composite frame with cast embellishments. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.

- one section of cast embellishment is missing.
