A hand-knotted, carved Chinese rug made from wool pile. The rug features hand-carved embellishments, including floral center medallion and scrolled leaves on a light rose field. Tones of rose/mauve to the outer borders, blue-gray to the inner border, with a cut floral and leaf border in creams, blue-grays, hues of rose pink and mauves, hues of dusty plums, lilacs, lavender, and hues of pink, and fringe at both short ends. Unmarked.
