A pair of hand-painted ceramic tiles of canal scenes. These works are rendered in a palette of pastel tones and likely feature Venetian scenes. They depicts rustic buildings, narrow canals, and arched bridges. They are presented unsigned and in gold tone wooden frames with beaded molding. To the versos is a paper backing and metal hanging wire.

Condition

- holes drilled to the upper center of tiles, minor accretions; surface and edge wear to frames; discoloration to the versos.

- measures frame; visible image measures 5.75" W x 5.75" H; both items measure the same.
