Item Details
A 1921 oil on board painting titled Country Barn by listed artist Julius Lars Hoftrup (Sweden/New York, 1874 – 1954). The Impressionist painting depicts a red barn surrounded by an abundant landscape. The work is rendered in energetic, loose impasto brushstrokes of vibrant color. It is signed and dated in black to the lower right corner. Presented in a gold tone wood frame with a beige linen liner. A brass plaque with the artist, title and date is attached to the base of the frame. It is ready to hang with a wire.

- stains to linen liner. Minor wear to frame.
