A machine made Turkish area rug. This wool carpet has a color scheme of rich red, midnight blue, pale gray, light blue, and ivory. The field is densely patterned with arabesqued vines, palmettes, and lancet leaves. It has a herati pattern main border with carnation meander guard borders. It has applied fringe and a tag to the reverse that reads ‘made in Turkey’.
