Vintage Georgian Style Mahogany Nightstand

Item Details

A vintage Georgian style mahogany nightstand. This square top piece with beveled edges and glass panel features a molded trim and Chinese Chippendale style blind fretwork to the cornice and chamfered stiles flanking a drawer and cabinet door. The drawer and cabinet features decorative brass handles. This piece rises on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carved knees terminating on pad feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- one chip to wood on front right side; some wear to wood on inside of cabinet; a few scratches and wear to top of piece; includes glass top but glass has been cut to a different shape.
