An early to mid 20th-century color etching on paper after Alfred Van Neste (1874-1969). The piece depicts a quaint French village street scene, with a large cathedral shown to the the background, rendered in a warm palette of brown, yellow, green, blue and grey hues. The work is noted in graphite to the lower right with ‘After Van Neste’ by an unknown hand. It is matted in cream and presented under acrylic glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- toning, foxing and fading to print and matting; areas of discoloration scattered throughout print; buckling to print and matting; scratching and edge wear to frame.
