A publication of Paul Briol photography. The Cincinnati Historical society issued this published collection of Cincinnati photographer, Paul Briol. Briol ran ‘The Book Shelf’ in Cincinnati which was at the center of Cincinnati’s literary circle in the 1920’s and 1930’s and is where he published his collection of photographs of Cincinnati in, ‘The City of Rivers and Hills, which is also included in this lot. Much of Briol’s works captured the everyday lives of Cincinnati residents and some of those select photographs are included in this publication as well as biographical information on Paul Briol.
