A collection of three square plates ‘Commemorating the Visit of their Majesties to the United States of America 1939’ featuring Queen Elizabeth and King George VI. These blue transfer printed plates are decorated with American monuments, leaves, and acorns on the rim. The center depicts the royal couple. The underside is marked ‘Royal Ivory, John Maddock & Sons Ltd, Made in England’.
