A 1987 limited edition soft ground etching titled Waterfall Cross by contemporary listed Canadian artist Albert Shives (born 1943). The monochromatic print depicts a large central waterfall dissecting the composition vertically through the center. A christ-like figure hangs from a cross to the lower right corner. The image is renderd in energetic layered line work that emanates diagonally from the central waterfall. The work is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right margin. It is titled to the lower center margin and is numberd 13 out of an edition of 50 to the lower left margin. Presented mounted to a black background, under glass, in a gold tone wood frame. It is ready to hang with a wire.
