An offset lithograph on paper after illustrations by celebrated Spanish Cubist Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973). The work was originally produced as part of the folio Toros y Toreros, which included illustrations by Picasso and accompanying text by famed bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguin and art critic Georges Boudaille. The print depicts bulls and bull fighters rendered in a palette of blue, green, yellow, red, and black pigments. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a hand inscribed certificate of authenticity from Collier Art Corporation.
Condition
- scratches and scuff marks to frame; some discoloration to mat; tape adhered to the verso.
