An antique American Renaissance Revival marble top chest. This 19th century chest has a white marble top with gray veining with rounded corners over the walnut chest with three drawers, one over the other, each drawer with two inset and raised panels veneered in burl walnut with carved fruit pulls and a carved Renaissance style escutcheon between the panels, the keyhole centered under a pediment and over a bell flower; with the three drawers between the chamfered corners of the chest with applied split reeded columns with ring turnings at the top and base; the case resting on a molding above the shaped skirt between bracket feet. Original finish. No apparent maker’s mark.
