An antique hand carved cherry amber lion finial. The carved lion has his mouth open and poised to pounce. The lion appears to have been a finial or rested atop a stand as one leg is punctured and would have attached to another piece. Unmarked.
Condition
- wear consistent with age and use; would benefit from cleaning; leg and foot not missing or broken, intentionally done to fit with a stand of sorts.
