A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by well-listed renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924), titled Bluebirds. The print depicts two of the bright blue and orange birds perched on a thin twig dotted with dogwood blossoms. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin, and it is signed in-plate to the lower right. It is also signed and numbered 45/150 in graphite to the lower corners. It is matted in white with blue lining and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black, gold tone, and green finishes. A hanging wire is attached to the piece’s verso, where the print’s original folio and a certificate of authenticity are housed in a pocket.

Condition

- print is slightly discolored with age.
