Vintage Rookwood Pottery Vase

Item Details

A vintage Rookwood Pottery vase. Made in 1949, this vase features a lily motif on the body in a deep red glossy finish. The vase is marked “XLIX 6830” along with the Rookwood mark to the underside. This is a factory second and bears and incised X to the base. There is a glaze skip toward the base please refer to photos.

Condition

- glaze shows crazing throughout.
- glaze skip has been covered with the clear high gloss glaze.
- several smaller thin glaze spots to the opposite side of the skip.
- marked with incised x to base indicating a factory second.
