Item Details
A vintage Bruning-Wallace drafting machine with ruler and case. The piece is stored in a wooden case with hinged lid, dovetail joinery to the corners and metal hook closures. The ruler is black with white hash marks and arabic numerals and is marked ‘Charles Bruning Co.’. The drafting machine is finished in a black tone metal with white hash marks and arabic numerals to the dial. The piece is marked ‘Aircraft Protractor, Mark 3-B, A.A.F., Order Number 42-12597-P, Spec No. 18-P-5, Manufacturers DWG No. 2832, Bruning-Wallace, Chicago.’
