An oil painting of a winter landscape by artist ‘F. Fisher’ and a lithograph of a woman in front of a canal by artist Otto Fischer titled Die Alte Stadt (‘The Old City’). The lithograph is rendered in rich color and is scattered with German text reading ‘Ausstellung des Saechsischen Handwerks und Kunstgewerbe Dresden 1896’ (‘Exhibition of Saxon Crafts and Arts Dresden 1896’). The oil painting depicts a cabin at the edge of a snow-covered landscape, a yellow sky hanging overhead. Both feature artist’s names toward their lower edges and are mounted in gold tone frames with wires for hanging, the print under glass and red matting.

- some dirt and accretions; wear to frames.
